Key People > Peter Eric Siegal, AIA

Peter Siegal is the director of real estate development for Group One. He is a licensed technical architect with more than 25 years of experience guiding the development of complex buildings, including luxury high-rise residential, fitness centers, aviation facilities and tax-credit affordable housing as well as mixed-use redevelopment and rehabilitation of historic structures.

He has particular expertise in the assessment of building structures and systems, land use and planning, construction costs, value engineering, permit acquisition, specification writing and review, and quality assurance. Peter has extensive knowledge of building codes andregulatory requirements along with a strong working relationship with the construction management, trade and design professional communities.

Prior to joining Group One, Peter worked for the Chicago office of the New York developer Related (this office was formerly known as LR Development). Before joining LR, Peter was a principle of McBride and Kelley Architects, a design-oriented, boutique architectural firm serving an exclusive clientele as well as many well-established non-profits.

Peter received a bachelor of science in architecture from the Ohio State University and a master's in the history of art and architecture from Columbia University in New York City.
